one of the renowed example of constructivism from the beginning of the 20th century, surronded by large areas of parks and gardens – to the North of Hala Ludowa there is one of th largest and oldest parks in Wroclaw – the Szczytnicki park with a beautiful Japanese Garden.

The largest group of churches in Wroclaw, the site of the archibishopic, the main buildings is the St. John the Baptist’s Catedral; other places of historical interest in Ostrow Tumski include: the two-storey Gothic St. Cross and St. Bartholomew’s Church, the Gothic-Romanesque St. Idzi’s and St. Martim’s churches, the chapter house.

One of teh biggest and most beautiful in Poland, surrounded by antique tenement-houses, the most valuable ones have been preserved in the Western frontage; the centre on the Market-place is occupied by the Town Hall – a one ot the most splendid examples of a Gothic-Renaissance building in Europe.
